Turning 30!

I did NOT want to turn 30. I wanted to fight it, kick, scream, turn back time, etc.  After much analyzation I think it not the number is but where I am in life.  I just didn't think I would be where I am.

I think that is all I have to say about 30.  Guess I need to figure out where I want to be.

New Favorite Commercials

I am currently watching the Yankees playing the Red Sox and saw these commercials. Who knew I would find a reason to not like John Krasinski and love Alec Baldwin



Philadelphia is not a legitimate sports town. Ha ha. Alec says it all. So to all you Red Sox fans watch this and know Yankee fans agree.



Hilarious. I love how he doesn't even feel bad. I don't think I would either.

Cinco de Mayo

What a great holiday!  I love it cause I get to eat Mexican food.  So food is really what the holiday means to me because I really have no idea the history or what people are really celebrating.

So along with this quick message about the holiday I have a funny story.

I was sitting at my computer at work getting excited about Cinco de Mayo and wondering how I was going to fit in Mexican food on my busy day.  Then a light bulb appeared over my head as I figured out what Cinco de Mayo meant.  May 5th.  It was such a let down.  For years I loved how Cinco de Mayo sounded very Spanish and cool.  I loved to celebrated the holiday every year.  I loved a reason to eat Mexican Food.  Then to discover the name of the holiday is just the date in Spanish I had to just laugh at myself.  Then I told Kendra and she laughed at me as well.  Come to think of it everyone I told got a good laugh.

Lesson: learn Spanish because this is not the first time I don't know what people are saying when the speak in Spanish.  I even think some of what people are saying I should know.
