So I wish I had thought of this last Friday and I would have posted the following.
Notice to ALL friends and family:
Looking for husband who is over 6 feet, dark hair, blue eyes, likes the baseball (no Red Sox fans), has a good job or in school getting their masters, likes to travel (especially if trips are based around sports like Yankees games, NCAA final 4 or to see BYU play, or any other sporting event), likes camping but won't make me go hiking, rich, know cars, and handy. If you know someone please contact Jan Beames, she is currently taking applications for me as well as her 2 other daughters.
Sydney's requirements:
Looking for a husband who is clever and can keep up with her wit, will not make her go hiking, likes to travel and is willing to cart her luggage (one case is only for hair products), helps her not be a workaholic, likes to travel and doesn't mind her crazy hair because of the humidity, knows pop culture and can keep up with movie quotes, or a deaf mute orphan (her words not mine).
Megan's requirements:
Looking for husband who is under 5 feet where the wind could blow him over because he is so scrawny, likes donuts and is willing to buy them for her each day, is willing to talk about food as a main topic of conversation along with pop culture, stupid boys need not apply, would like a lawyer to help sue BYU for her tuition because she was not one of the 99% who got their MRS degree while enrolled at the institution, and must like Paul Simon.

Update on Goals
So I realize that I have been slacking on my goals. As I read over them again I realized that the year is 1/4th of the way over and I am stressed. I know I will probably not accomplish many of my goals. Also, reading over them some of my goals have changed. Here is an update on a few.
- Blog once a week - I think this goal has changed to blog 52 times in one year. So far I think blogged 9 times. Guess I should catch up.
- Read the whole Ensign each month - I have all the Ensigns for the last months. I need to read them. I think I will try and read to catch up.
- Take the GMAT - I am registered to take a GMAT prep class starting April 19th. I am getting a little nervous.
- Apply for Grad School - I have started the process of applying at the U. I am also looking in to BYU and Utah State.
- Visit Holly in California - BEST TRIP! Kaleigh and I went to San Francisco over President's weekend. It was so great. I do have to say I wonder what people in cars driving by the Pier thought seeing 3 freezing girls with umbrellas trying to keep from being blown away.
- Get a henna tattoo - When Holly visited before Thanksgiving we got henna. We ran out of time with Holly so one random night Kaleigh and I had a little fun. I will add pictures soon.
- Go to the Aquarium - A great time with Holly and Kaleigh. With the right people anything can be one of the best experiences. It makes for great memories. I will add pictures soon.
- Become active - So I have found a new ward which unfortunately is going away at the first of May but I forget how much I love church.

Sports Sadness
I have decided that disappointment in sports is one of the hardest things for me. I get so invested. I read every article ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Fox Sports, and the SLTrib write about the teams, the match-ups, opinions, blogs. I love the thrill and the rush of a good sports team but sometimes you get disappointed. Sometimes it stays with you and sometimes I will not remember a week later. Here are some of my greatest sadness brought on my love of sports.
I will say I need to thank BYU basketball. For awhile I have felt that I have had no passion for anything. People would say "what about the Yankees?" and I was not following them. BYU has made me love sports again. I would say I caught Jimmermania. So to the boys in blue, thank you for fun and the trip to the Sweet Sixteen.
Also, does anyone know of someone like Jimmer Fredette that I can marry?
- 2004 - Yankees up 3-0 over Boston to go to the World Series and Boston comes back and wins the League Championship series.
- 2001 - Yankees lose game 7 of the World Series against Arizona Diamondbacks
- 2011 - BYU loses to Florida in overtime in the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen.
- Utah Jazz losing to the Chicago Bulls in 1997 and 1998.
- 1998 - Utah loses the championship game in the NCAA Tournament to Kentucky.
- Watching grown men cry when they lose big games. This breaks my heart unless it is Duke or the Red Sox.
- When I was little I remember watching Weber State have a run in the NCAA tournament. I remember them losing and feeling bad.
- The Olympics. I put this all together because there is a moment every game that USA does not win.
- Brighton never winning the State Championship in football while I was there.

My favorite time of year
I think March may be one of my favorite times of year for the following reasons.
March Madness - I love that college basketball is everywhere. First the championships for each conference. Second, selection Sunday where you get to see the seeding of your favorite teams. Third, filling out your bracket. Fourth, following basketball at work for two days. Fifth, upsets. Sixth, buzzer beaters. Finally, watching your team win (GO BYU!)
The Smell of Spring - The other morning I went outside and spring was in the air. It was the first time this year that I could smell it. I can't describe it but I love the smell. It didn't last because it snowed soon after but spring brings hope.
Easter - I know Easter is in April but the candy comes out in March. It is the one time of the year that I buy tons of candy. The other day I went to the store for groceries and ended up buying $13 of candy. Mini Cadbury eggs, Cadbury Carmel eggs, and Sweetart chicks and ducks. Whoops.
Spring Training - Baseball season is almost upon us. Enough said.
Jimmermania - I know this doesn't happen every spring but it should. He is awesome. I love to watch him play whether it is the long 3, driving to the basket, or the 9 foot jumper. He is the best scorer in the world. The other thing I like about him is how people describe him and humble, unselfish, and a hard worker. It basketball today that is hard to find. As my dad says they are all thugs. So thank you Jimmer Fredette for being someone that people can look up to.
P.S. His brother T.J. is hot.

Quotes make me happy. I find that people can say what I want to and always better than I can. My family knows this because I slaughter sayings and don't use my words all the time. So here are a few quotes that I have not messed up and make me feel inspired.
